Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to know more about the knowledge and sexual practices of
undergraduates concerning HI/AIDS. Despite a great awareness of the dangers associated with the
disease and the abundance of knowledge, young people continue to engage in practices that place
them at risk of contracting the disease. The main objective of the study is to determine the
knowledge and how it has influence the sexual practices of undergraduate in CSUC. This study
utilize a stratified sampling of 316 students at CSUC using a quantitative approach, a self –
administered structured questionnaire featuring questions concerning their knowledge of HI/AIDS
and how it has influence their sexual practices. The data collected was processed using the software
statistical package (version 16.0). Findings also indicated that students had much knowledge on
HIV/AIDS but this knowledge had no influence on their sexual practice. Respondents suggested
that there be more HI/AIDS programs on their campus.
