dc.description.abstract In today’s business, roles of gender difference and work-life balance in organizations is one of the critical issues faced by organizations. This study therefore focuses on gender role and work-life balance in organizations. The specific objective of the study was to assess the effects of gender difference and to identify major strategies that influence work-life balance such as open door policy, job sharing, well-being measures, working environment, working hours and work from home. Descriptive Design was used. Data for research work was sourced from both primary and secondary sources. The samples were made up thirty (30) subjects drawn from an organization (PURC). SPSS was used to analyze the data. The study discovered that work-life balance can achieved through strategies such as open door policy, working environment, job sharing, working hours, wellbeing measures as regards proper management be done scientifically in order to help employees to balance their work-life and their life outside work. Improving these strategies will improve satisfaction and effectiveness and thus ensure organizational goals and objectives. It was therefore recommended that there should be organizational performance monitoring, a manual governing gender roles and work-life balance strategies should be created. There should be proper training to help employee balance their work life and their life outside work, even in finance and quantitative methods and other disciplines could be appreciated beyond. en_US
