Abstract:
Current business trends have made it imperative for almost all large organisations to maintain effective internal control systems. Internal control has attracted intense debate and scholarly attention across industries. It is against this background that this study was conducted into the consequences of internal controls on performance of firms. The main objective of the study is to look at the consequences of internal controls on the performance of Awumapa Buyers Company Ltd.
