Abstract: Formulating effective policy in developing economies requires a &#13;
deep understanding of the complex interplay between macroeconomic &#13;
variables and price levels. This study creates a detailed empirical model to &#13;
explain price-level movements in Ghana using key determinants like money &#13;
supply, fiscal balance, public debt, and exchange rate. Using quarterly time&#13;
series data from 1990 to 2023, the study employs Autoregressive Distributed &#13;
Lag (ARDL), Vector Error Correction (VECM), and Vector Autoregressive (VAR) &#13;
models to analyse short- and long-run relationships. The models confirm that &#13;
the exchange rate and money supply are primary drivers of price levels. The &#13;
ARDL model identified a significant long-run relationship, with an error &#13;
correction term (-0.47) suggesting that 47% of deviations from long-term &#13;
equilibrium are corrected quarterly. The VECM confirmed this long-run &#13;
stability, while Variance Decomposition analysis showed the exchange rate &#13;
and money supply account for over 60% of changes in the Consumer Price &#13;
Index (CPI) over a 10-period horizon. The findings highlight the critical need &#13;
for Ghanaian policymakers to manage currency fluctuations and money &#13;
growth to ensure price stability.

ABSTRACT  &#13;
Environmental destruction in Ghana appeared to be the hottest of the political issues &#13;
in the run-up to the 2024 General Elections. The study sought to unravel the possible &#13;
factors militating against Ghana’s efforts in the fight against environmental &#13;
destruction. It also postulates certain intentional and coordinated activities that the &#13;
religious bodies in Ghana can undertake in contributing to salvaging the ecological &#13;
crisis. Using the qualitative method, and a purposive sampling technique, some &#13;
players in the environmental economy such as individuals, traditional leaders, &#13;
religious leaders, and government officials were interviewed. In addition, for first&#13;
hand information, efforts were made to visit some Akan communities to observe &#13;
how the people behave toward their environment. This paper argues that the &#13;
ecological narrative in Akan communities has changed chiefly because of social &#13;
conflicts, engineered by factors such as the basic needs of humans, politicization, &#13;
desacralization, materialism, economics, “development,” culture, chieftaincy, &#13;
international relations, tenancy, religion, civil action and many more. However, &#13;
Akan religious people to whom this paper has pointed fingers as part of the problem, &#13;
have what it takes to contribute to salvaging the environmental crisis in Ghana. The &#13;
paper recommends that religious bodies engage in the intensification of ecological &#13;
conversation and building ecological congregations by employing eco-pedagogy &#13;
and making investments in environmental protection ventures in Ghana.

prioritize speed in their operation, but there is no algorithm that exhibits such characteristics and therefore requires analysis of these &#13;
algorithms on platforms such as speed, strength, and security to give an intuition in choosing a suitable cryptography technique. In this &#13;
paper, we have implemented and analyzed the performance of three symmetric algorithms: DES, AES-128, and the AES-512 bit &#13;
algorithm on grounds of security and speed using the cryptography parameters encryption time, decryption time, and key generation time &#13;
to detect which one is efficient.
