dc.description.abstract | The researcher could not have agreed much better with Paul Meyer when he said ‘we expect doctors to have many years of education before they begin to practice, and we also expect those in practice to update their skills regularly1, so we should not expect less from one of the most important and critical institution of parenting when it comes to thorough training before one is introduced into such a field. The issue of child rearing or Godly parenting knows no educational qualification, personality or status, what it does need is the experience and preparation towards it that is why every parent must prepare adequately on parental education and also improve upon their parenting skills. Gone were the days when old women in their respective household taught the girl child how to wash utensils, clothes and do some household chores and even taught young women at the age of adolescent, ready to marry, how to treat and care for her husband, take care of babies, bath them and sing lullaby to put these babies to sleep when crying and even to the extent of teaching these girls how to have sex with their partners. | en_US |
