Abstract: Communication management is a critical component of every organization and PR practitioners are pivotal to the managerial function of crafting and delivering effective communication strategy in organizations. Internal communication in particular has become so vital to organizations that if it is not well managed, it could hamper the progress of an organization as a whole. There is therefore the need to identify the role of PR practitioners in managing internal stakeholders’ communication.
Description: This chapter looks at the background of the study, the problem statement and the purpose statement. It also looks at the study objectives and the research questions as well as the significance of the study, scope of the study, limitation and delimitation, and, finally, the operational definition of key terms.
