Abstract: Leadership is vitally important at all levels in the organization. Leadership is the moral and intellectual ability to visualize and work for what is best for the company (Mullins, 2006). Strategic leadership on the other hand is a state of thinking strategically in all aspects of operations irrespective of which ever position or level the person finds himself or herself.
Description: Organizations require leaders in order to achieve organizational goals. Good leadership can result in success whiles poor leadership can result in failure (Armstrong 2001). Leadership has over the years been a key topic in management, organizational behavior, and industry and organizational psychology. It has however become an important new course in schools and colleges of Business Administration and Public Administration.
