    <title>John Wesley’s Pneumatology and its application to the contemporary Ghanaian public space</title>
    <link>http://localhost:8080/xmlui/handle/123456789/30645</link>
    <description>Title: John Wesley’s Pneumatology and its application to the contemporary Ghanaian public space
Authors: Boaheng, Isaac
Abstract: Abstract: John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, made significant contribution to the&#xD;
subject of pneumatology. Wesley’s pneumatological teachings and praxis addressed a myriad&#xD;
of societal issues in eighteenth-century England, including moral decay, economic disparities,&#xD;
discrimination, superficial religion, and oppression. Contemporary Ghana (the context of this&#xD;
research) is confronted with socio-religious and political issues comparable to those of&#xD;
Wesley’s society. This situation has prompted this research which aims to apply relevant&#xD;
aspects of the socio-political ramifications of Wesley’s pneumatology for addressing Ghana’s&#xD;
socio-religious and political challenges. The research is a literature-based research that&#xD;
gathered data from such sources as books, journal articles and dissertations. A comparative&#xD;
approach was used, where parallels were drawn between the two contexts to facilitate a&#xD;
contextual application Wesley’s pneumatology for the transformation of the Ghanaian public&#xD;
space. The central argument is that genuine Christian spirituality should extend beyond&#xD;
personal domains, actively engaging with and impacting the broader public sphere to yield a&#xD;
holistic societal transformation. Beyond its capacity to instigate ethical rejuvenation within&#xD;
Ghanaian society, this paper offers valuable insights into the subjects of Christian&#xD;
pneumatology and public theology.&#xD;

    <title>Ubuntu socio-political ethics and Ghana’s journey to realizing the aspirations of Agenda 2063</title>

    <description>Title: Ubuntu socio-political ethics and Ghana’s journey to realizing the aspirations of Agenda 2063
Authors: Boaheng, Isaac
Abstract: Abstract: In light of the aspirations outlined in Agenda 2063, which aims to promote&#xD;
socioeconomic development and unity across Africa, there remains a need to explore&#xD;
effective socio-political frameworks that can be applied within the context of individual&#xD;
nations to facilitate the attainment of these goals. This study focuses on Ghana as a case&#xD;
study to investigate the potential impact of integrating Ubuntu socio-political ethics into its&#xD;
governance structures. The paper used conceptual analysis to study the Ubuntu philosophy&#xD;
based on data gathered from books, articles, and dissertations. The main thesis is that&#xD;
Ghana’s chances of realizing the strategic goals of Agenda 2063 can be enhanced by&#xD;
anchoring them in relevant aspects of African philosophy of Ubuntu (the communal&#xD;
worldview of life). The areas of applications include tolerance and consensus building,&#xD;
political inclusiveness, nation-building and patriotism, the fight against corruption, and the&#xD;
promotion of human rights, gender equality, justice, and the rule of law. The paper&#xD;
contributes to public discourse about Ghana’s potential to achieve the goals of Agenda&#xD;
2063.&#xD;

    <title>Theological Reflections on the Temptation of Christ based on a comparative study between the Accounts of Matthew and Luke</title>
    <link>http://localhost:8080/xmlui/handle/123456789/30643</link>
    <description>Title: Theological Reflections on the Temptation of Christ based on a comparative study between the Accounts of Matthew and Luke
Authors: Asare-Antwako, Samuel; Boaheng, Isaac
Abstract: ABSTRACT&#xD;
This paper explored the theological implications of the temptation of Christ as&#xD;
depicted in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Through a comparative study of&#xD;
these accounts, the paper examined the nuanced differences and similarities. The&#xD;
paper conducted a textual analysis of key expressions in the text to arrive at a&#xD;
theological conclusion. The analysis examined the significance of Christ's&#xD;
temptation in relation to his identity, mission, and the broader narrative of&#xD;
salvation history. The study revealed variations in the narrative placement and&#xD;
structure of the temptation accounts in both Mathew and Luke due to their different&#xD;
motifs. The study also revealed the crucial role of the Holy Spirit in the temptation&#xD;
accounts in both Matthew and Luke, with different nuances. Again, the study also&#xD;
revealed that the nuanced differences in the duration, the nature of the fast and the&#xD;
temptation contents in Matthew and Luke highlight various theological emphases&#xD;
and narrative strategies. By juxtaposing the perspectives presented in Matthew and&#xD;
Luke, this paper seeks to deepen understanding of the theological insights&#xD;
conveyed through the temptation narrative, highlighting its relevance for&#xD;
contemporary Christian reflection and spiritual formation. The paper concludes by&#xD;
asserting that the temptation accounts in Matthew and Luke emphasized the&#xD;
sovereignty and providence of God and the authority of scripture. It also stressed&#xD;
the interplay between pneumatology and human experience during temptation&#xD;
periods and placed Jesus ahead as the model for spiritual dependence on God.&#xD;
